      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2017

      Interview

I applied to the position in October 2016. I heard back from the recruiter on the position due to a referral by a different recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I had four rounds of interviews - two screening, one on-site with five interviews and one Skype interview.

      Question 1

Designing dashboard questions were unexpected. However, it was fun working it through with the interviewer.

      Data Insights Analyst Interview

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in May 2017

      Interview

1 technical round + data related task + 2nd technical round Really bad HR in India. No response to any email queries. Due to the unresponsiveness I thought I didn't make it to the next round. But one find I get an email invitation for an interview the same afternoon. I also had to do a data related "task" but the task statement and description were very poorly worded and full of grammar and spelling mistakes that I didn't really understand what the task was about. There was no mention of what deliverables are required. And the HR who sent me this task is completely unresponsive to queries.

      Interview

One of the best interview processes I've been through. Salesforce places importance on the skills and value a candidate would bring to the company. The data challenge was a recurring part of the hiring process, although each round did include behavioral and technical screening, and cultural fit questions. The recruiter was helpful about what to expect in each interview, and prompt with updates on the hiring process throughout.

      Question 1

I was presented with a data challenge, made to present it to hiring manager and team members. This is a new graduate position; being able to articulate your findings and being informed about Salesforce products and culture were the key to success.
