      Senior Technical Architect Interview

      11 Jun 2019
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (London, England) in May 2019

      Interview

I originally applied for the position of Program Architect as this seemed the most appropriate after discussion with the Salesforce recruiter. The process was explained as 3 telephone interviews (Technical, Consulting, Line Manager) followed by a panel interview in person at Salesforce Tower. After the 3 telephone interviews it was agreed that Senior Technical Architect would be more suitable so the process was then 2 further telephone interviews (Technical & Consulting) followed by the panel interview.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2022

      Interview

I was a multi step process of screening, hiring manager, individual assessment interviews and a final case study panel interview. Everyone was friendly and intelligent. Hiring manager followed me and prepared me for each stage of interviews and offered assistance on preparing for the final panel interview. The whole process felt less like a test and more like a collaborative due diligence. Both introducing me to Salesforce but also gauging my fit for the organization. It can be intimidating to do panel interviews with your peers or even those you might call potential mentors but everyone was positive and engaged the whole way.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Lots of questions around how you handled things that were hard, dealing with tough conversations and technical acumen
