It has been a very positive experience from start to finish, quite a straigh tforward interview process, with phone call first and then the panel interview at Salesforce. Great communication throughout, good communication with recruiter and hiring manager

Interview
I was referred. Took HR several weeks to schedule an appointment. Once I got the appointment they did not show up. Apparently the HR guy was sick and then I did not hear from them for a long time. After some months the Line Manager contacted me directly and apoligized for HR and that they were really busy at the moment. Once I had the appointment the HR contacted me again to schedule an appointment, which I had scheduled already with the line Manager (lack of internal communication it seems..)
However, I got the interview with the line manager and never heard anything from Salesforce again after this meeting. I was annoyed after this experience and did not follow up either.
In general, I was disappointed with this unprofessional behavior from such an established techcompany.

Question 1
Focus on my past and experience and why I want to join Sales Force and if I had experience as a Solution consultant. And the remaining time the line Manager explained their daily work. At least the interview itself was ok.

Generally a very good impression. Beginning with the introduction of both sides. Then time for standard questions about experience, expectations, how I found the offer, etc. Nice atmosphere, clear process explanation, and time for questions&answers or Q&A.

It felt like a chat between friends, more than an actual interview.
Everyone was friendly, honest, open. Like in a family.
The recruiter was incredibly available and supportive through the whole process.
I told the interviewers what I felt I could bring to the table and they told me very honestly what I did and did not (!) have for the position - but they bet on my will to study hard and learn fast.
