I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
Got through the recruiter screening and was interviewed by hiring manager. He called almost 10 minutes late without an apology, then rushed through the interview. Seemed unimpressed by my answer when he asked me what I had been doing since laid off 2 months before.. 1) traveling 2) looking for a job

First, I did an HR screen. After that, I did a hiring manager screen. I then did a panel presentation to three panelists, and all the interviews were conducted via a virtual interview format.

Question 1
What is your business case for adding AI functionality?
Hiring manager call followed by 4 panelists. The interviewers are at a level above you are applying for. All from the same team/org. It is primarily a behavioral interview. They are trying to assess if you have done the work in the specific domain and have experience working in SaaS space.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Great experience from introduction to offer. Recruiting team was excellent throughout the entire process and felt adequately prepared for the process. The interviews consisted of an initial discussion with the hiring manager, followed by 4 30-minute panels with cross-functional partners and adjacent colleagues. A bonus is Salesforce’s Insider program, which provides an opportunity to meet a current employee and ask a few questions. Overall, one of the best experiences I’ve had. I can tell they care about who they bring into their organization and rightfully so. Excited to bring my talents to Salesforce!
