I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Slalom in Dec 2020
Interview
The entire process has been polished, friendly, and structured. The recruiter wrote a personal note to connect rather than the standard form letter. From there, all interested parties were brought in to spend time getting to know one another further, assess technical & personal fit, and address any questions. The discussions were transparent and friendly, culminating in an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Leadership style (with references and experiences), situational questions that are relevant to consulting, and technical questions to understand design & architecture decisions related to the position's field of expertise.
Not too difficult. All questions were what you would expect. A few rounds with the hiring manager, and others from the team / umbrella which included a case study. The prompt was given with a few different options and fairly simple to deliver.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom in Oct 2024
Interview
Four separate 30 minute interviews. Each with a different individual. Each interview was supposed to be focused on one thing like culture or technical skills, but in reality the interviewers did what they wanted.

Interview
Very friendly, multiple screeners with people in the local office (over zoom). They'll ask about any consulting experience, but mostly want to get to know you as a person. Just be yourself.
