I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (New York, NY) in May 2018
Interview
Applied on February 8th around 9am PST. The website was slow due to heavy traffic and once they receive the amount of applications they want, the application window closes so make sure you are prepared for that! I didn't get any feedback from them until March 16th which was just a letter saying that applicants are being called in the order that they applied. Another long waiting period and then May 8th I got an email asking me to fill out my 5 year history, and a call from a recruiter to set up my phone interview. May 11th was the day of my phone interview. Make sure you smile even though they can't see you. Stay positive and stress the importance of customer service and safety. Also look into the the company and make sure you know the job description (or just have it next to you). About 2 hours after my 20 minute interview my recruiter called back stating that I would be flown to Dallas for a face to face and someone would contact me within the next 6 weeks to set the date and make all arrangements. She let me know that I would need 3 copies of my resumé and 3 letters of recommendation as well as how to dress. I am still patiently waiting to be contacted again while I research info for my F2F. Thank you for reading and I hope this helps!

The interview was on zoom in 2022. It was with a recruiter and flight attendant. They were very nice and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. The whole interview took around 30 minutes.

So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
