I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Kenner, LA) in Aug 2018
Interview
After applying online for the Customer Service Representative position. I received an email to schedule a phone interview the following day and to complete the application. They called me later that evening before I had the chance to call them. The following week I had the phone interview. She called about 10 minutes before the scheduled time which was inconvenient because I was at work and planning on doing it during my lunch break. But I was able to step out and have the interview anyway. The interviewer was not very personable. She informed me of the pay, bidding, overtime, training... she read everything. Asked me if I still wanted to continue and was still interested. As if this was supposed to turn me off. I replied, “very much so!” Her questions were very dry. Not friendly or welcoming at all. Her response to every answer was the same. “Very good. That sounds reasonable” It seemed to be a very dry interview and like she was just reading questions and not interested in what she was doing at all. I had a bad feeling from the start. I have prior experience in customer service in both the airport and other jobs.
If you’re interviewing, don’t give up! I still admire SWA very much. I just think I had bad luck with my interviewer.

Question 1
How did I handle juggling multiple task at one time?
I interviewed once with the recruiter and then with a local representative. The interview questions were your typical STAR type questions. The interview was informative and conversational. They went over the important parts of the position and what a day would look like if hired.
