I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2018
Interview
it was pretty easy, you have 1 phone screening and if they like you they fly you down to HQ for a face to face with the recruiter and the hiring managers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
tell me a time you helped someone, what their problem was and how you helped.
It was a one way interview software was rlly buggy and syas you can redo the videos if you mess up but you cant :(. All behavioural basic like why southwest, why this position specifically, how does your experience, course work and involvemnet align with this position, a time you had conflict.
Lots of STAR style questions that pertain to past experiences. The interview was primarily conversation based, and not intimidating at all, would definitely recommend in any department, even if nervous.
It was quick and easy. This was the first round and more of a screening to make sure I met the same requirements that were mentioned on the application. They only asked 3 behavioral questions.
