I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Spotify (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Pretty quick and done virtually due to Covid and team members are all over different countries in EST zone. Had one HR interview and one with the supervisor under the hiring manager.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Spotify
Interview
At first, responses were quick and updates were awesome. Things were scheduled quickly and it was awesome and exciting. Someone dropped the ball. I was promised answers and updates on specific dates (offered by the recruiter) and then days would pass, I would follow-up and be ignored. After over a month or two of being in limbo, I followed up again to just let me know where I stood in the process and an expected timeline. I was told that I was not being given an offer because of something that was clearly bogus - all you have to do is read my resume and talk to my references to know it was bogus. I questioned it, and was ignored again. It was a horrible candidate experience and I would never apply again because of it.

Question 1
There was a timed situational test that took a few hours. Be prepared to write down questions and then rush to answer them. Stressful structure and overlooked most of my skills. Apparently I did everything perfect except a minor detail. Given the environment, I would thing that would be excused. I didn't feel like my time or work was valued.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spotify (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Very relaxed and informative, got a good feel for culture and what the job would be. It was clear that the company has an open culture that fosters creativity, etc and room for growth internally
