      Interview

It was a very odd and disjointed process. A recruiter called me after I submitted my resume for this position. But instead of having the resume that I JUST SENT, she had a resume that I submitted ages ago for a different job. I'm not sure how that happened, but I sent her my current resume again. She didn't seem to know much about the job that she was recruiting for. She seemed to be doing everything on the fly. She read from a script that stated that the job required a bachelor's degree. My resume clearly stated that I only took a few college courses. She proceeded to do the phone interview. Then she said that she would call me back. A few days later, she called back and started all over from the beginning... wanting to discuss the items on my resume. Good grief. She wanted me to write two essays about how I handle customer service, which I completed. She wanted references, which I provided. (And they were contacted and provided very good feedback.) Then, she said that she would call back. About a week later, I received an email from her stating that she should hear back from hiring manager "hopefully today or tomorrow". I never heard from her again. I don't really care that much, because the company she was recruiting for does not have the best reputation anyway. Like I said, the process was disjointed and erratic. This is why I usually don't mess with these fly-by-night recruiting agencies.
