I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at TurnKey Product Management in Mar 2021
Interview
If you’re in search of an agency that will take you through their interview process, only to completely ghost you in the end... Turnkey Product Management is for you. I saw the interview review below before applying initially, so I expected a bit of unprofessionalism from Turnkey, but never to this extent. After crafting a cover letter, submitting a video (it’s 2021, seriously), interviewing, and submitting additional work samples that were not required for the role, Turnkey couldn’t be bothered to follow up, or at least respond to my inquiries about hiring updates and projected timelines. Three emails and two voicemails later... no word from them at all. To this day, no word. I had another offer on the table (which I took! L) and truly wanted to speak with Turnkey regarding my candidacy, but was ignored at *every* attempt. I’m pretty sure Turnkey doesn’t ignore their clientele (or do they?) and cannot fathom why a client service-based agency would find it appropriate to leave candidates in limbo. The lack of respect for people’s time and energy is a HUGE red flag. Why list job openings if no-one within your agency can find the time to follow-up with potential employees? Why hasn’t a formal job applicant system been put in place? Are your employees so overworked that replying to candidates is a second thought? Again, if you’ve worked agency-side at any point in your life, the lack of response and respect should speak volumes here. The lack of diversity and commissioned pay system at Turnkey are additional red flags. Do with that what you will. All in all, for as little time as it takes to send a quick email update, or ‘no offer’ letter, I expected much more from Turnkey and would not recommend and/or work for this “agency” going forward. Save yourself the time and effort and skip the application for this place. Find a real agency with a formal interview process, diverse staff and clientele, and basic respect for potential employees..and human beings in general.

Interview
After submitting resume received an email to answer more questions and had to post a 30-60 second video on what makes you uniquely qualified to work here. hen came the 30 minute video interview. I was surprised to learn that they would hire 5 people and train them all at once while offering only $15 on a 1099 for 90 days. It felt more like a cattle call for a call center than a professional agency that runs Amazon marketplaces. They wouldn't tell what the average Amazon client manager earned or how many clients you would have. If hiring this agency to run my business, I would question that caliber on employees they have based soley on this odd hiring practie.
