I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
After a screening call from recruiting, I was brought in to meet with 5 different people from different functions. Each individual discussion was relaxed, personable, and professional. About 10 days later, I was called to come back to meet the hiring manager 1:1. That interview was slightly more technical but mostly very straightforward and relaxed.
Thorough, 3+ months and several loops, a take home case that you present in front of a panel and Q&A. Lots of behavioral questions and detailed in the trees questions from the hiring team

Question 1
What type of metrics did you use to understand retention and growth with your experiment?
I've reached only first round of interview with hiring manager. She was friendly and explained me the stages. But I felt that I am not going to the next round of interviews.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
Only made it through the recruiter screening. It felt very rushed during the conversation. It didn’t last long at all. Maybe 15 minutes. I received an automated rejection email within 36 hours
