recruiter gave a different pay range and recruiters changed mid-stream during interview cycle. After 4 rounds of interview with various Uber team members the recruiter who came back to me with the offer acknowledged that the original recruiter may have provided a higher pay range from SFO and that the offer was less than what I make today - Uber wants to keep me in consideration for other roles but after this experience that sucked up my time and energy, it’s safe to say that I don’t want to be considered for anything at Uber!
