I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever (Jakarta) in Jan 2021
Interview
The TA contacted me via WhatsApp to fix the first interview. I was asking if it's for a specific role I applied for since I applied to multiple roles. She doesn't want to answer the question, rather saying that we'll talk about it later.
Prior to the interview, she was interviewing for another role, a more junior. She was upset about the fact that I pointed up the question I was asking about the role. During the whole interview, she was extremely rude, and someone sitting next to her had to remind her to remain polite then only she change her tonality.
The second interview was with the user, he mentioned that he would be transferred to another role. So, I don't see the point of why he was interviewing me. As someone who has a Ph.D in Chem, he argued that my dissertation in social psychology isn't relevant to the study of consumer research. I was stunned, don't know what else to say when people act over-smart outside their field. But both interviews are pretty telling.
