I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group in Jun 2010
Interview
I was told through email that I needed to take an onsite assessment. I took the assessment and the recruiter set up a time to meet with her again a few days later, she was very confused over dates.
I went to the interview which was a very simple session with the recruiter, who told me I would either be called to come back and interview with a hiring manager, or I would receive an email that would indicate they had declined to pursue me further and this would happen in 24 hours. Well, 24 hours passed, and I heard nothing. I called and left a message expressing my interest in the position, and then at midnight, received an email stating they had other more suitable candidates.
Over all the experience was ok, with the exception of the recruiter being a little out of touch and unprofessional.
Recruiter called me, then scheduled an interview with hiring managers (via video) There were two managers on camera asking question during the interview. Very comfortable great conversation. I didn’t feel pressured or nervous at during interview
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Austin, TX) in May 2019
Interview
The same day that I did the assessment, I received an email requesting an interview. I accepted the time and date the recruiter provided however, the recruiter did not call me at all. I emailed to verify that we were on the same page about the time, and received no response. The next day she replied asking to reschedule, and we set another time up for an interview. The recruiter called 20 minutes late on a muffled phone and only asked question verifying what was listed on my resume. The recruiter had no respect for my time whatsoever.
Asking basic past job history questions. The first step of the interview process, was answering the questions the automated system asked as it records you. Once competitive is submitted to the recruiter and from there, it’ll be determined if you’re able to move on to the next stage.
