      Cashier Interview

      Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart in Nov 2009

      Interview

I asked the customer service if they were hiring and she said yes she thinks so she she telephoned a person and told me to go to the very end of the store where the employees' washrooms are. There was a desk and a lady was waiting for me she gave me a paper to fill out and then asked me why I want to work for walmart and what time I was available and if I can work early/late/weekends. Then she went in to try to get me an interview and I got in and I was asked about my previouse work situations and had to give examples of how I dealt with customer services or problems etc. At the end she told me to come the following day for a second interview. The second day I went and the manager interviewed me. He had similaur questions and was very nice and seemed like he liked my answers. He made me fill a criminal record consent form and told me that I will be hearing from them very soon. It has been a week now since the second interview and I still have not received any calls from them. I have already cancelled another job that was offered to me because I thought I was accepted in this job. Many people said the fact I got a second interview ment 90% I got the job. I still have hope in them calling me. My husband thinks they are probably going to call me around christmas time when they need part timers but then when am I supposed to be trained? Today I went to the same walmart store and I asked a random person working there and told her about my situation and she told me to call account personel and ask what happened. But I'm not sure if i should do that?

      Interview

Easy to accomplish and not very difficult. Seemed if you used common sense you’ll be okay. Just be yourself and go in there prepared. Good luck! I didn’t get an offer but I was fine with that.

      Interview

The interview was fine but you definitely get the big box store vibe. It was a bit rushed through, I could tell the manager was going through the motions but I also don’t necessarily expect anything more.

I interviewed at Walmart (Massa, TX)

      Interview

Fairly easy. Multiple rounds. Just have positive attitude. They’ll do an initial round. And then you meet with 2 other supervisors on 2 different occasions. They just want to make sure you will be friendly to customers and be able to listen and follow directions
