I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Cedar City, UT) in Oct 2012
Interview
Very quick and basic. Just like any other retail interview. "Describe a time when you assumed responsibility?" etc. The only issue I had was that the Bakery manager was stretched so thin that day and she had to make me wait about fifteen minutes in the personnel office while she finished some of her bakery duties. I did not mind though.

Question 1
I remember her asking questions but I do not remember specific ones. They were very typical of a retail interview.

Interview
One on one interview with an assistant manager. Half the interview was a question and answer format, the other half was completing a written questionnaire. The total time involved was approximately 30 minutes.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had to resolve a conflict with a teammate.
They just handed us availability sheets. It was during a prime covid time so they did not take a significant amount of time asking us questions. It wasn't difficult and I was hired and working within a week of the invitation for an interview.
They called me and just asked if I could tell them about myself and had me list any experience I had, and then they said I had the job. It was a very oddly simple process.
