I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Walmart in Jan 2021
Interview
Worst, was set to 10am EST, they showed up on zoom at 10amCST because they were conducting from India.
At some point 5 people were sitting in zoom, was asked to implement merge two objects, they did not like my 5 line solution with reduce, instead they showed me 20-30 line solution with lots of memory usage and lots of unnecessary loops saving them in multiple variables, yet they called me not senior enough
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Bengaluru)
Interview
I applied online and got a call from recruiter. They take interviews only on weekdays. He called me at 10 am. The process was smooth. They have four rounds 3 technical and 1 hiring manager round. First round is problem solving, data structures and algorithms. Next 2 rounds are based on core Javascript. Though the interview might have React.js in description but they will stick to core JS.
