      Phone Banker I Interview

      Manila, Manila
      Declined offer
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wells Fargo in May 2015

      Interview

The hiring process was simple. I received a email after I submitted my application (If you have certain qualifications the system will automatically send you an email to set up an interview.). I set up the phone interview, which went great. I was asked a few different questions. My interview honestly felt like a formality. The person who interviewed me only wanted to know what I sounded like over the phone and why I was leaving my job before my one year mark. She did not seem interested in anything besides that. Once we were done, she offered me a second interview. It was a one on one interview. That was the best interview, because I was able to talk to someone who was a PB1. She answered all my questions about the negatives things I had heard about the position (I heard that it was easy to get fired, sales are hard, and people will sit (harrass) you until you get those stats up.). She was very down to Earth and upfront about the company's expectations. I was offered the position shortly after, but had to endure the lengthy background check process. I say lengthy because I had to do more than one task that took a few days to process. WARNING I live in a state where people cannot really keep jobs. Our interview practices are not as prestine or professional as other states. Most jobs will hire you even if you wear flip flops and short shorts to the interview. Therefore, this was sort of a gimme for me. You should not expect the same experience with how fast I was hired or how forthcoming my second interviewer was.

      Interview

Easy and fast, the recruiter will update you from time to time which is very good. Goodluck! Its just easy. No need to worry about. Wells fargo is a good company, however, there are some leaders that are power trippping so be careful.

      Interview

Interview is very easy. Typically three behavioral questions. Phone interview for starters and then 1 on 1 with management. Typically ask about difficult situations. Be prepared to use STAR method. Sometimes I find this method can make you over think. I would say just write out a few scenarios and just practically to sound organically.
