I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Bengaluru) in Jul 2021

The interview had 1 OA round followed by 2 technical interviews and 1 hiring manager round.
1st Round - OA
Had 3 coding problems - invloving concepts Graphs, DP and Heap
2nd Round - 1st interview
Was giving 2 coding problems to solve -
1. Count all the Palindromic subsequences in a given string
2. Design a LRU cache
3rd Round - 2nd interview
Was given 1 coding problem related to Graphs and then the discussion went on to my projects and CS fundamentals of OS and DBMS
4th Round - Hiring Manager
This interview was more like a chill conversation, it was more like a behavioural round.
Overall the difficulty was moderate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Moderate to Hard difficulty I'd say, 4 rounds in total
They had 3 rounds.
1) Pre screening hackerrank test.
2) The 1st round tested coding skills in which they asked to solve 2 leetcode medium questions with interviewer on call.
3) Managerial round being about past projects and managerial questions.
The interview was good. After the behavioral questions I got asked a bunch of OOP and high level system design questions. The interviewer was polite throughout and gave me hints when I was stuck or couldn't remember something specifically.
I applied online. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Compton, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
The recruiter was helpful and professional, and took the time to explain the process and the role in detail.
However, my experience with the hiring manager was less positive. During the conversation it felt like the communication style was quite condescending, with an assumption that others lacked understanding of the topics being discussed.
Overall, the recruiting process itself was organized well, but the interaction with the hiring manager made me reconsider whether this would be the right team environment for me.
