Yelp Software Engineer Data Mining Group interview questions

Contacted by the recruiter. He spoke very nicely but even though I had no mention of Data mining on my resume and I had applied for a computer vision and machine learning role, the recruiter insisted on making me interview for the data mining team. Sent me a hackerrank on data mining, was not my field so i messed up and then never heard back from them. All things said not a very nice experience, felt like a colossal waste of time.
