During the interview, I had to put together 2 instructor pay amounts based on their laborious system. They make you sit down and open up several Excel files, Word Files, Google and then put together the individual instructor pay for a month., looking at individual contracts, calculate mileage, pay is based on several different parameters, hourly pay amounts change per each school, per instructor, per amount of students, etc etc. I believe they are using a very inefficient way of paying instructors that can leave lots of room for making errors. After trying to figure all that out, then they come back and show you on paper what you got wrong. They also pay mileage to contracted employees, which instructors should be doing this themselves, and could lead to problems with the IRS with Employee vs. Contractors pay issues. I have worked as contractor with several companies, mileage is my own responsibility that I write off as a contractor.

After working on the the "Word and Excel tests" which were not software tests at all, I did ask them how long have they been using this system to pay their instructors? Seemed stoned face after I got several answers wrong on their "test" However, the one guy said he does not like it when instructors call him back getting mad at him because he paid them wrong. Well NO WONDER because their system is SOOO LABORIOUS and very easy to make errors. I had to TYPE in payments individually per date, per school, in a Word sheet and that is how they pay ALL their instructors which is A LOT! Then type number of days x $$ amount which varies. There are many software programs and cloud based companies that could do this SO MUCH MORE EASILY for a more efficient way to run their business. Less

Most questions asked throughout were fairly standard interview questions but I particularly liked this behavioral question posed in the group interview about prioritization - "If given these following three tasks on a busy day, how would you prioritize them - 1) Respond to another sales rep about a request from a smaller client (academic) 2) Respond to a sales rep about a request from a larger client (pharma) 3) Prepare a presentation for the manager"

This was a favorite for questions because I have a sales background and prioritization/responding to multiple requests increases overall productivity. Order would be - 1) Respond to a sales rep about a request from a larger client (pharma) the order of the other two depend on when the presentation for the manager is due. Imperative that requests from larger accounts are dealt with deftly and efficiently. Less
