SCOPE OF POSITION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer Supervisor, (Sergeant), with a proven background as a security supervisor.

As a Sergeant, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities of Officers during their shifts which provides safety and protects all clients, their employees, and properties.

The Sergeant may schedule Officers to posts within a region as needed. Sergeants review staffing levels to maintain appropriate coverage of posts. Assigns responsibilities to Officers as needed. Conducts site checks and inspections of security Officers to ensure compliance with company policies related to equipment, safety, uniform and grooming standards. Executes training to subordinates as needed, completes appropriate disciplinary action, and performance evaluation reports.

SHIFT: Full-Time/Part-Time, late evenings/graves

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a professional image, ensuring the company's reputation is not compromised
- Assists the Lieutenants with the day-to-day security operations and activities of sites, clients and Officers with the region
- Keep the Lieutenant apprised of all issues pertaining to Officers and clients
- Check company emails consistently and return call as soon as possible
- Have a knowledge of Bureau of Security and Investigative Services regulations that pertain to Private Patrol Operators and Security Officers as well as company policies and procedures
- Responsible for the proper execution of assigned duties
- Complete duties assigned by the Lieutenant

- Provide training to new Officers and monitors work performance through their evaluation period

- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Training Officers, planning, assigning, and directing work.

- Evaluates performance of Officers, recognizes outstanding actions and disciplining employees as needed utilizing progressive steps, addressing complaints and resolving problems

- Maintains regular, consistent attendance record

- Interacts with clients and their employees in a professional manner

- Interacts with local law enforcement agencies as required

- Have a working knowledge of TrackTik program, MS Word, Power Point, Excel and other approved office software

- Attend, and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned and required

- Attend required meetings as assigned

- Prepare written statements and investigations in a logical and grammar correct manner

- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
