Pros

Not much pros to talk about except few good chairs and infrastructure.

Cons

1. No Work-Life Balance 2. Negligible KT for new joiners, for such a complex system. 3. Poor poor Pay and management thinks they are one of the highest payers, lol. 4. Multiple projects for one resource. Hectic. 5. Old technology all the way, company full of mainframes. 6. Worst facilities, not even good snacks counter, filthy cabs, no lunch facilty- not even paid, everythings closed after 7, stay late at your own peril. Even cabs are not provided on time if you get late. 7. No Onsite. 8. Poor systems to work on, network desktops with too many issues and lag. To sum up all, it is quite different than what Allstate actually is, its more of a rigorous cost cutiing centre or a step child of Allstate Chicago. Too much expected of an employee without giving proper business knowledge, company spends a lot on seats, sofas and chairs, but completely ignorant about employee facilities. Most of the policies are puzzling. None of the fortune 500 company features. Admin guys get the onsite but not the software people, just imagine.

Pros

Allstate India (ASPL) is good overall (Except ETRM-Testing). Good benefits. Many co-corricular activities( they say budget problem but simply waste lakhs of Rs together for junk activities). Free Cabs. Free Wi-Fi. Good work atmosphere.

Cons

Allstate (ASPL) Testing unit is a big Con for Allstate as a organization. It will be a great shame to be part of Allstate ETRM Testing Unit, because may be you will be required to work under inefficient team leads. This is the only place in world where you can see people who were Receptionists, Ad agency workers etc., in past have got TL Positions. It will be very nasty thing to work under them. You can see majority of employees including TLs with fake and irrelevant experience in the past over here. I have seen one team whose TL is fake and there were so many escalations on her, many resources resigned because of her in the team and still no action was taken, instead she was rewarded. HR team is useless, they couldn't take any action on her. Also resources resigned were treated very badly during their send offs. I request who looks at this review, to bring it to the notice of people who work at Allstate if they know some. At least in this way awareness will be created about the reality of Allstate ETRM, because people in position to take action are useless since they can not take any action.

Pros

Company has a great work culture. Great work life balance and good facilities like free transport, free WiFi etc. Find seat and enjoy..(3 yrs full time)

Cons

no work, No onsite.. lead dominate you, only show-off.. false promise. For developers - have to change only one 'if condition' for a release..
