Pros

None that I can think of. Grade 2 by pure luck.

Cons

Unrealistic KPIs, toxic culture, bullying mentality, no trust in the leadership and direction.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We appreciate that our restructure last year may have caused concerns and apologise if this was a challenging time for you. Your allegation of bullying is very serious, and I would ask you to be courageous and raise this with your HR Business Partner ASAP, so we can investigate fully.

Pros

Some great colleagues and clients

Cons

Toxic culture with very poor executive team. Constant staff turnover is disruptive to learners but culture and pay are major issues that the company should invest in. A very untrusting environment where your face has to fit, your age matters and blame is the name of the game.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We know that our restructure last year caused some concerns and apologise if this was a challenging time for you. We're committed to understanding the views of all our employees (not just the ground staff) and will to continue to actively listen, understand and then act accordingly.

Pros

I've only been here for a few months, yet have found the people at Babington to be very friendly, welcoming and inclusive. I think this says a lot about Babington and demonstrates the importance they place on maintaining a great culture of openness and collaboration. They offer remote (and flexible) working which really helps with my work / life balance and is perhaps the single best benefit available anywhere. They regularly survey employees so can understand any areas of concern and address any issues that arise.

Cons

There was a restructure last year, and change is happening as a result. Lots of positive outcomes are planned, yet this kind of transformation isn't always easy and often not for the faint hearted. If you're determined, ambitious, want to prove yourself and help Babington's continual journey of improvement, working here could be a great opportunity for you. If you're just looking for a 9 till 5 job, Babington might not be the best choice.

Pros

Babington offer some fantastic benefits and the focus on employee wellbeing is only growing. We have flexi-hours making it really easy to fit work around other commitments/home life, a brilliant discount scheme with hundreds of supermarkets and high-street retailers, a healthcare scheme, a holiday purchase scheme for 5 additional day per year, enhance maternity/paternity benefits and wellbeing events.

Cons

Salary maybe a little lower than that of competitors but benefits do outweigh this. There are periods of stress but what job doesn't have these? Babington help to manage stress well and I could very easily approach my manager if I felt my workload was too high. Career development can often be difficult, continue to work on this!

Pros

Monday to Friday working hours

Cons

New senior management have no people skills-recent restructuring saw a very if your face fits, you will get the job, salaries advertised for roles not what you are given when in post, management dont listen but make out they are all about an open door policy, its all for the expected ofsted visit, so much underhand, micro management, autocratic, abrupt, rudeness and insulting culture from management to staff, they have no idea about teamwork, they can talk it but their actions are the opposite. Staff in roles that they are not skilled for but for ofsted purposes the reports say they are skilled or will be trained up. Personel colluded with managers so no point going to them, investigations not conducted properly and discriminatory language is tolerated about students from their coach - must be too much paperwork to do properly. Horrible place of work. Avoid it at all costs or be prepared to be humiliated and devalued
