My Experience Working at Cashify
I worked at Cashify for almost 3 years as an Assistant Manager. During my time with the company, I observed that the business growth and market presence of the company are very good. Cashify has strong potential in the electronics resale and service industry, and the company is expanding quickly. However, the way operations and employee management are implemented is not always supportive for the staff working on the ground level.
One of the biggest challenges employees face is the extreme work pressure. Staff members are expected to deliver more than 100% performance consistently. In many cases, employees end up working 12 to 13 hours per day, which goes far beyond normal working hours. There are situations where employees do not receive proper weekly offs or public holidays, which affects their work–life balance.
Another concern is the working environment for employees who are working from home. Even though they are remote employees, the expectations and workload remain extremely high. Many of them feel constant pressure to be available all the time, almost as if they are expected to work continuously without proper rest.
In addition to operational responsibilities, employees are also expected to perform sales-related tasks and achieve targets. From my experience, operational teams are required to focus on customer service, quality control, and daily operations. However, in this company, operational staff are also pushed to meet sales targets, which creates additional pressure and confusion regarding roles and responsibilities.
If employees are unable to achieve the assigned targets or if their performance is considered low, they often receive calls from the Head Office in Gurgaon. These calls can add more pressure on employees, as they are questioned about their performance and targets.
Another issue that many employees feel is that raising concerns about workload or policies can be risky. There is a general fear among employees that speaking openly about problems may negatively affect their job security. Because of this, many employees continue to work under pressure without expressing their concerns.
I have around 9 years of professional work experience, and during this time I have worked with different organizations. In my experience, I have rarely seen a system where operational staff are expected to manage heavy operational duties while simultaneously carrying strong sales targets and extended working hours.
This is not written to criticize the company’s growth or success. Cashify is growing rapidly and has good opportunities in the market. However, improving employee management, work-life balance, and clarity in job roles would make the working environment much healthier and more sustainable for employees.
