It various team to team, but if a team is too large, a disconnect with manager may occur. Uncertain growth path.

Great place to work for if you want a an entry into the investment management sector. Some groups and people care about software development which is nice to see.
Cons
Have to deal with a little bit of beaurocracy stemming from being owned by State Street which can get frustrating at times. Some groups care more about delivery and less about product. Over time the emphasis on quantity of process over quality is dragging good work.

Although not perfect, leadership really cares about people and puts in the time to take care of those who need it. That starts from managers and goes all the way up to the Executives and they set a great tone for the rest of the company. People around also want to help you learn anything and everything. Moreover, they are also working hard toward modernizing the tech stack.
Cons
At times it can be very stressful, lots of work to be done and not enough people, but leadership is actively working on hiring help.
