A message to “head office”

Pros

Good commission, staff on the floor are very friendly, everyday brings a new challenge and learned how to manage stress a lot better.

Cons

The new system in DID has ruined it for a lot of the people, the hardworking staff and the customers. Warehouse staff are rude, useless and lazy. Management? No existent. They have no idea how to look after the staff, the shop and most importantly, the customers. Head office operate with a mob mentality. They prance around in their nice suits when they come into the store just to show it off, then they speak to you like a dog and make you feel like crap on the end of their shoe, so disconnected from the reality of what’s happening in this business, Especially right now.

Pros

Front line staff good to work with.

Cons

Started in call centre in 2016. The job was sales based with targets. Was satisfying and enjoyable. Became more customer service based. Targets still the same but most calls were complaints about the company's service which was causing mental health issues to me and my colleagues.. When I mentioned it to the manager he said "you're talking like you don't want to be here " I requested a position in a different department which I got in Jan 2020 and was told i was moving back in December. I refused due to the mental health issues endured. They didn't care and said I was moving for business needs. After the grievance procedure they said we take mental health seriously but I should take the job anyway. I had to resign due to the company's actions and may take a case of constructive dismissal. Manager also had a go at me for having covid and him not being the First to find out.
