Pros

Used to be a great business great comms structure and atmosphere

Cons

Dash group was a very different business not so long ago. When I joined they had churned through 3 teams in just as many months. When I started another division had 12 people in it and now only 2. There is no support you are remotely managed from Victoria with a director present for 6 hours once a week to sometimes every second week. There is no development opportunities within Dash group. The problem is you have people on very different comms structures some get 35% and lump sum payments others are paid comission over 3 months. The problem is the business is losing money and is 1 to 2 big biller leaving till there is no Dash Group any more.

Pros

None - monthly pay and even though they gave me my base salary preference, they were late with payments multiple times

Cons

- Contract allowed me to earn commissions upon every bill - I passed their threshold every time within the quarter- and still have not been paid. - the directors all have their wife and families, yet always favoured to hire young women in the workplace which might be partial reason as to why I was hired, but they were very inappropriate and flirted every time they were in office. And after a while, when I clearly was not interested in their advances or they noticed that I wasn’t for that way I just wanted to work, they became very passive aggressive and never really spoke to me again. And if you come from a previous recruitment company, and you work within your restraint period for them, they obligate and force you to pass on your previous business relationships which puts you in jeapordy of being sued by your company before only for them to put a restraint on you when you leave, and if you work and do the same thing at your next company, they sue you (double standards). Also they will randomly set an email like a week out saying you are forced to use leave for times like a public holiday or the week of one, and you say you are working which is normal in recruitment, they still deduct leave even if you are working on those public holiday days. This was so inconvenient because I was saving for a holiday, and my leave was always getting taken whilst I tried to save it up. They also missed paying my wages 3x which was a real financial burden for me cause I was on a monthly pay basis and all my dues and rents were scheduled on the 1st of every month. I spoke to 6 ex employees who have all filed legal notice to the company for not paying out commissions. Long story short, when the directors hire you and tell you that you are going to get commissions in the interview, the real answer is no. And if you’re a girl being hired, stay way clear from them. Terrible company and they put me off recruitment. Also, we went to one social event, the director was so inappropriate towards one of my colleagues there that it made me uncomfortable

Pros

None. Literally the worst place I’ve worked

Cons

The National Operations Manager is probably the worst person I’ve ever known. Fired staff, didn’t pay commission, they were sued multiple times for unfair dismissal and found lost all cases to ex employees. Staff turnover was 100% literally 15 staff joined and within 12 months it’s a different 15. No training. Run remotely from Melbourne by the national operations manager who is a control freak micro manager.
