Pros
I’m lucky to be working with people I genuinely like. However I can see how this role can have a high turnover rate. Decent medical benefits, commission is decent, you can see the fruits of your labor in commission in a month to month basis.
Cons
This company is notorious for adding unnecessary steps to processes and procedures that didn’t need more of them. This role can be taxing on an individual mental health if work life balance is a priority. Depending on how saturated an area is with other individuals in the same role, the amount of opportunities you’re able to get to daily has dwindled in the past several years. This review is posted during an economic recession so AT&T put unrealistic expectations on support staff and has severely limited what employees are able to make with tiered commission structures. I don’t necessarily stress about it because I always hit my KPIs comfortably. However, there are individuals who aren't able to do the same or achieve the goals consistently so they lose out on at the most 20% of what they normally would make in past years. This commission changed happened earlier in Q1.
