Pros
I like the culture and the people in the company. The benefits are at par or slightly above competitors' in the country - I started with a very low salary but the increase, through the years, has been very satisfying <I just don't know if we can keep this up for this year given the economic downturn!>. Staying in the company builds up market value through classroom/computer trainings and exposure to different clients. The company has continued to support my plans for continuous learning through certifications/mentoring programs. I also like working with bright people who had kept their feet on the ground :D
Cons
I don't like working during the holidays and sometimes, with the company's commitment to deliver to the client on time, we have to work on vacations. Grr... I also don't like the laddering system for performance evaluation - really, its forced ranking.
