Pros
Bleeding edge technology use, always looking at efficiency enhancement, learning different culture as you are working with global team all the time (there is cons on that). Truly one global network, everyone in the firm talking on the same language/knowledge. Anywhere you go globally you can expect the same technology use and how to execute projects. Fast pace environment, expected to be up or out type of career track most of the time. For sure will be able to learn a lot.
Cons
- Worklife balance, lots of extra hours and working nights or early in the morning to meet with people on the other side of the world. - Compensation/review/reward not design for a technology deep skill resource. They expect everyone to be more as management as each moving up the ladder. The only way get rewarded is moving up on management skill.
