Pros
- great exposure to a diverse and endless list of clients - the company is so vast your time there is really "what you make of it". - excellent way to sharpen your skills in any career path - great way to travel and see the world on somebody else's dime if that is what you want to do. - not a "sharp elbow" culture.
Cons
- I have lost count of how many times I have seen people in the office called out for achievement simply because they seem more friendly with upper management. - Similarly, I have seen less social colleagues kicking butt on client projects but annually getting passed over for promotion. - In many ways, upward mobility at Accenture feels like always making sure you have a seat at the "cool kids" table during lunch in high school. - Leadership culture of MBAs in its technical/digital divisions. - Below market rate payscale for engineers.
