Pros

Easy and unchallenging work in a physically comfortable environment. "Wellness" hours given but this being a "pro" is up for debate.

Cons

Gradually worsened conditions over time Abysmal location with a total of 3 hours commute despite living in Dublin near public transport. 9 Hour shifts with "wellness" being worthless given its remote location. Wellness created more pressure to socialise with colleagues than many might be comfortable with, often found myself preferring to work rather than take wellness to avoid small-talk. Unpredictable schedules that could be either 8am-5pm, 3pm-12am or 11pm-8am. Changed on a weekly basis making sleep schedules impossible to maintain. No realistic opportunities for career growth outside of minor promotions. These conditions clearly were the result of overhiring and unwillingness to offer redundancy packages.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
