Pros
Worked with many lovely people. Opportunity for growth until you hit the managerial level.
Cons
Upper management lives in an Ivory Tower with little insight, knowledge or care for the lesser people. Employees and middle management have little to no interaction with anyone who is not a Director. There is a huge disconnect between then and the people actually doing the work. Middle management bears a huge burden and is not well supported. HR is very severe in their interactions, communications and practices. Few people trust them and want to get involved with them in any capacity. People are nice but scared, even to reach out to or speak to past employees - it's very odd. Speaking up is an unpleasantry that is not welcomed - American culture in that way. Very high turn over due to poor upper management selection, staffing shortages and failure to address problems.
