Pros
Depending on your position within the company your experience can be vastly different from another, but broadly the benefits are great, offices are very nice with lots of amenities and you'll get to see and work with lots of cool technology. There are great people around. The company is enormous, once you get your foot in the door you can likely find a role that fits your career goals within a year or so.
Cons
In IT Services, teams are chronically understaffed and all middle management cares about is making themselves look good. While yes they will help you out, ultimately they are scrutinized even more than the individual contributors and it shows. Senior leadership doesn't appear to have any coherent direction other than shoving AI down our throats and maintaining uselss metrics that don't benefit the customer. There is so much waste. I'm constantly blown away by how much money is thrown around and wasted. One would think with Frugality being a leadership principal things would be better managed and tracked, but at this point I'm convinced the company just has so much money that is doesn't really matter. There's millions of dollars worth of gear laying around that will never be used. Projects and initiatives often feel reactionary and drag on well past their original deadlines due to poor inter-team communication. At the end of the day you'll stay busy and get paid, but personally there is very little motivation to innovate in such an environment.
