Cons
Amazon recruited for DevOps Engineer position but actual work is of Support Engineer. The role of Support Engineer in amazon is troubleshooting issues rather developing tools for automation. People having development experience should never join Support Engineer. Most of them who join this role just for the sake of brand feel mismatch in skills and work. Support Engineer's ,with development experience, skills are underutilized. Coming to work life balance, Management turned blind eye in distributing work load equally among its employees. This may not be applicable in all orgs. This is the case at least in my team. I regret accepting the offer of Support Engineer.
