Pros
1) Gets to work with business owners from IIMs. 2) Gets to experiment with stuff as the team is in startup stage. 3) Office location is good. (WTC BLR)
Cons
1) The lazy employees who work 3 hrs a day might get promoted and the one working hard 10-12 hrs/day will not even get a chance to discuss about promotion with his manager. 2) The team culture set by the leadership has turned to be a demoralizing example. 3) 90% of the time you'll be working on ad-hoc tasks for others, automating their stuff. These will never be recognized by your manager to support you to grow. 4) All the focus is on delivering tasks, whether the process handles the corner cases no one cares. 5) Too much manual work even from automation employees like downloading a file from some portal (cannot be automated due to authentication token), running script, etc on daily basis. 6) The team is running in survival mode. 7) No code review. 8) Expectation setting mismatch if you're tech savvy as your manager would want you to move towards operational excellence. 9) No work from home policy forced by manager. 10) Higher leadership not at all helpful in achieving your personal goals.
