Pros
People (esp. Software engineers) - are helpful, friendly, talented and dedicated. Standard Perks - Good Salary, Flexible work timings (kind of) Mature tech stack - You don't need to work on small common problems. Someone would have already solved/abstracted it out already.
Cons
OnCall Policies - (You are expected to lookup/mitigate/resolve issue , even if its 3 am) Reviews are dependent on direct manager (mostly) Expectations of doing work on off-hours (sometimes - around 30% of times) Unheallthy justifications on basis of leadership principles. (in a lot of scenarios) Infamous things like (Dev Plan, PIPs) [Tip : Ask some people who left amazon ]
