Pros
Salary was ok until inflation came. Benefits like in any other company (minus performance bonuses)
Cons
The leadership principles are just decorative wording and managers do not care about anything else but protecting their own position. Lies are a normal thing in this company, managers and specialist treat their subordinates like brainless agents to fulfill the SLAs. They constantly implement pointless changes just so they have materials for their own promotion. If someone speaks their mind and challenge their decisions, they get rid of people. A lot of promotions depend not on one's skills but rather on how much they were pleasing their managers. Everything is decided behind the close doors by people who does not always have qualifications for it. There is no flexibility in working hours, no reward for hard work (no monthly/quarterly benefits). If you are a high performer they will make you perform even more until you burn out. You will be constantly controlled, overloaded with work and silenced if raising questions. Most of the Amazon work positions are repetitive and fastidious BS jobs - you learn only Amazon tools which will not help you grow in any other company. You will be obliged to do number of corporation equality & respect trainings without getting any respect back. Can be truly toxic and exhausting, no matter the position.
