Pros

-Fantastic Company Culture -Countless resources for personal growth career and career development -Strong leadership dedicated to employee wellness -Fully stocked fridge and tons of snacks - I was dismayed to see some negative reviews about the leadership team and lack of career growth for the SDR role. The expectations for the position were clearly communicated as well as the path towards a promotion. In fairness, the job is not for everyone - but like with anything worth doing, you get out what you put in. Cold calling can be arduous and challenging, but the management team does a tremendous job of keeping every day interesting, rewarding solid performances, and helping employees build essential skills throughout your time there. I moved from SDR to ISR and have enjoyed success in both positions.

Cons

There are no cons that don't accompany any Sales Development Representative position, and probably much less. If you're able to handle extensive cold calling, opportunities will present themselves.

Frequent team outings and social events that help build relationships across the team. Generally a friendly, social environment!

Cons

The property management team is highly competitive when it comes to promotions, and I’ve seen BDRs remain in the same seat for years or eventually leave, as internal advancement opportunities can be limited. However, for top performers, there is promising upside, and you get to work with some of the best leaders in the organization. On the investment management team, leadership quality is more uneven, and there appears to be a lack of management experience, which has created gaps in coaching, accountability, and overall team development. As a result, performance outcomes have lagged, with the majority of BDRs and AEs struggling to consistently hit target. Team turnover has also been notably high, and leadership engagement only increased after a large portion of the team had already decided to leave, which by that point felt too late to rebuild morale or trust.
