Pros
good projects, most people are good to work for/with and know there stuff, good experience
Cons
where to start, you feel like a robot on a machine line, expendable and to meany people in the office work gets low very easy and very fast and you have nothing to fill your time sheet with. they dont explain the travel scheme properly to people. there is no happy feel to the office, someone got giving out to for typing to hard, everyone feels like you cant talk to anyone. office lay out is horrendous you dont sit near anyone who is working on the same project as you everything is done via email phones ect. drawings are terrible how they get jobs i dont know. they half fast drawings nothing i have worked one is to any standard or is accurate, block scales are wrong they have no tool pallets, plot styles are all over the place, printers are not looked after in anyway, folder structures are a mess. there is no part off Arup that makes you feel like your wanted and part of a family. no help in career progress they would get someone in who dose the job, than train a staff member. i will never go back, i am very unhappy about Arup, it has being a dream of mine to work here, and now the only thing i am taking from working here is friends. there is much much more
