Pros
Sometimes when you look through the scope from outside at a large company, you immediately become worried about the culture. Will I get lost in a sea of people? Will I be easily ignored? Will my voice be drowned by those who have been there for years? How tiny of a fish will I be? At Blizzard, since joining last year, I can honestly say I've never thought those questions again. Like a small, close family, I feel like I was immediately part of something bigger but heard as if it were only 5 of us. With leadership here so in-tune and involved in our constant success, in seeing our careers grow, in maintaining a healthy work/life balance, and helping forge a team effort around doing what is best for our community I feel like I've joined a place that is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. With perks up the wazoo, with great additions like the ability to bring your dog to work, take a walk along a bike path JUST outside the gates, be so close to all of Orange County/LA/SD, and feel apart of a place that celebrates when we do well, celebrates our accomplishments and praises the hard work and dedication we pour into our day-to-day is incredible. It's always scary looking from the outside in to a large company like Blizzard and not knowing what is on the other side, but I can say that taking that leap, putting my faith in those stories from those who work here or have worked here, and joining this family is the best decision I have ever made in my career and not one day has gone by of regret or reconsideration.
Cons
I don't have enough time in the day to meet every dog on campus.
