Pros
Tons of really smart, passionate people. Forefront of every new developing technology. Perks seemed to be decent after awhile. Auto industry is an exciting place to work, especially right now.
Cons
Huge race blind spots. It's a major corporation whose US operations are based in Detroit and South Carolina, yet I can count on one hand the number of black employees. MLK social media was about the white plant manager learning that race issues still exist in the USA. "industry standard benefits" = no spousal paternity leave; 5 (five) paid holidays; high out-of-pocket health care Greenwashing amok Supervisor clearly was not ready or willing to onboard new employee. Abandoned on first day, "goal setting" two months later than scheduled... team member at times seemed to be more concerned with fencing off her turf than helping develop mine. Existing skillset disregarded HR would say the sky is blue, while management would actively implement "sky is red."
