Pros

They pay higher base salary to compensate for the inevitable deterioration in your mental health.

Cons

I have over two decades of industry experience and have never experienced such a regressive and toxic environment. I resigned due to a toxic workplace and narcissistic manager that severely impacted my well-being. My manager was discriminatory, ineffective, disorganised, and had terrible VOE results but was still promoted to MD because they had worked with their bosses for 15 years. My attempts to address these issues were met with refusal and indifference from management and HR, highlighting a disregard for employee well-being and fair treatment. After my resignation, I faced further harassment, underscoring a pervasive environment of discrimination and bullying.

Pros

- Opportunity for Mobility and career growth, cross functional collaboration, global organization - Amazing mentors, colleagues and collaborative mindset - Volunteer Culture

Cons

- Mobility can be challenging w/o a sponsor. - Depending on departments, fast moving and may impact work-life balance. - depending on the team, you might encounter micromanagers or teams that may be selective with mobility. Though inevitable in some instances, if you are aware of team dynamics and team culture, employee could mitigate or manage/avoid this risk.
