Pros
401k, benefits, school reimbursement, pension after 5 years (if hired before 2008 if not then they match up till 9% on 401k) coworkers,
Cons
I'm in retail banking which means longer hours, work on weekends, and pushing products, I agree with others on here who mentioned that we have INSANE sale goals and it seems we have a conference call every time we don't meet expectations. There was one day we had 6 conference calls. The hours can be very VERY long, it usually consists of an all day shift from 9:30 am until 7:30 pm and you have to complete at least 4 different trackers or excel charts BEFORE you leave and don't forget the branches are usually very short staffed so good luck getting that done on time which by the way, if you don't leave on time god forbid you have overtime. Good luck on getting a great manager that doesn't know how to do anything but yet still takes the credit for YOUR work. Hows this for messed up, I brought a red level branch up to a green corporate audit in a short amount of time and guess who DOESN"T get a bonus. ME. The branch manager gets the bonus and all I get is a pat on the back. They didn't give us raises last year but the raise i got this year was .25.
