Pros
The pros of working for Edelman Atlanta are: - the number of days off employees receive - the middle managers and junior staff are some of the most optimistic and idealistic professionals I've ever had the pleasure of working with - the level of autonomy you receive one you've proven yourself to senior leadership
Cons
There are numerous cons of working at Edelman Atlanta: - senior leadership in Atlanta is a strange combination of incompetence and entitlement; never have I worked with a group of individuals who abandon their responsibilities to their teams, office and practice groups, while simultaneously demanding to be compensated at a level to which they do not perform - the favoritism that exist within the Atlanta office is unethical; those that are favored get promoted two levels above their current title while I personally know of several individuals who are suffering silently in practice groups and disciplines that are going nowhere - leaders and HR openly lie and PR situations internally to mitigate employee backlash and protect their own selfish interests; I've seen HR manipulate the truth to keep individuals from advancing. That level of deception starts at the very top of the region with the president and trickles down to every senior leader in the office. Knowing that your leaders will deceive you to prevent you from advancing is demoralizing and insidious. - there is absolutely no value for out of the box thinking; this office routinely tries to pass off subpar work as exceptional. We are never given the time or resources to truly create plans and campaigns that are creative and will make the client and it's work stand out.
