This company does not trust its employees in the US. They remove all permissions from your laptop to basic maintenance. You can't even defrag your disk or remove temp files! Yet the Indian employees are given access to Production and all Client information, while US employees who have supported the Production platform for years are locked out!
All this company cares about it making sure shareholders get big returns (The 1% who don't pay taxes) and to Hades giving you the tools to successfully do your job with high quality. They say they support remote, yet half the time you can't get connected because the dozen or so end point scanners running on your laptop blocks your connection. Helpdesk doesn't know what they are doing and can't work outside their scripts.
