Pros
With the right manager, there is opportunity to move around within the company and to build on your existing skill set. Compensation package is commensurate with the industry, benefits are also good. There is flexibility with the work schedule - again with the right manager.
Cons
There is a tendency to try to "fix" things that aren't broken. Sometimes, it can take far too long to get something done, which is typical with larger companies.
