Pros
Simply put, if you can handle waking up way before the rooster crows, scanning packages, and organizing different sizes of boxes onto a truck with limited space, you will do fine (just focus on getting your assigned packages off of the belt, scan 'em, and set them in the truck until you have some time to put them up where they should go. It I really and easy-going job. From what I can gather they only chew you out if you've miss-scanned something or put it on the wrong truck. Other than that, you won't be able to mess it up. My coworkers are some of the best people I have had the chance to work with in my short work history.
Cons
At times there an be so many packages going down the belt, that you will scramble trying to just get them off of the belt. Many of those boxes will be heavy and take up your time trying to set them where they go. Not sure for others, but I am not used to waking up at 1 or 2 in the morning. With family that don't have to wake up in the early hours, I struggle to try and get sleep. To the driver's: Take pity on us; you are not the only truck that we have to load. I get that you want to get out on the road and get done as soon as possible, but please wait and let us scan the boxes (for accountability reasons. just takes 3 seconds).
